In Senegal—much like in most other countries—a real estate transfer tax applies, payable as a percentage of the purchase price.

- additional grid connections as backup.
This allows for a very high degree of independence and reliability.

How does the purchase process work?
After selecting a villa, the purchase process generally consists of several steps:
- reservation and coordination,
- notarial preparation,
- contract signing,
- payment according to agreement,
- registration and handover.
For villas still under construction, individual customization requests may still be possible in some cases.

How is inheritance regulated?
Inheritance law depends on several factors, including:

Can the villas be rented out?
Yes.
Temporary or long-term rental is generally possible.However, QUARTIER is not designed as a holiday resort offering short-term vacation rentals.
We are open to long-term tenants and residents. If you plan to stay in Senegal for an extended period, there is generally nothing preventing a rental arrangement.Due to the location near Saly and the Petite-Côte, there is demand for high-quality accommodation in the area.

Is living in old age or with support possible?
The QUARTIER concept was intentionally designed for long-term living comfort:

Do telephone and internet connections work reliably?
Yes.
In most parts of the country — especially in the Saly region — the mobile network infrastructure is very well developed.
4G and 5G connections are widely available, although small coverage gaps may still exist in some areas.
Internet access within QUARTIER is individually arranged by each resident.
Starlink currently offers a very reliable and cost-effective solution. Stable and fast internet connections can also be achieved using LTE routers.
If there is sufficient interest in the future, the entire property may also be connected via a dedicated fiber-optic internet connection.
